Birdwatching:
June 10-17, 2011:

June 10: Pick-up at Keflavik airport. Flight to Keflavik, pick-up at airport. Drive over to the Blue Lagoon for breakfast and relax in the Blue Lagoon. At 10 o’clock drive to Reykjavik, book into hotel. Stroll to the city centre to the Pond with your guide. On the Pond a variety of ducks can be seen as well as a number of other species. Free time in the city till afternoon when the bus and your guide will pick you up for an afternoon drive to some interesting bird-sites near the city.

Day Tours

Suggestions of daytours:

An hour or two of walking between the various galleries in Reykjavik. After a nice walk, a rest in one of many cafés.
Another hour of walk, this time in Hafnarfjordur to look at abodes of the Hidden people, the fairies, the dwarfs and other inhabitants of Iceland.

Dog-sledding/snowmobiling! Once in a lifetime experience upon one of the glaciers.

Round-Trip

Tour starting on July 25, 2009. Included in the tour is accommodation and breakfast, admission to the Blue Lagoon and the shark museum.

We will do some walking (trekking) every day, snowmobiling or dogsledding during the tour is optional, tours that need to be booked separately. Whalewatching from either Husavik or Reykjavik is an option.
